I try to write about three times per week. Most of it is pretty good and will probably help you grow your business. If it doesn't, then I probably can't help you.

Last weekend Jen and I were out of town trying to take nap in her sister's basement, our little son (2 1/2 years old) was playing with the toy kitchen next to us. He was having a good time. 

Jen turned to him and asked if he was cooking. 

He was very proud and handed her an invisible plate of food. Upon asking for a fork, he handed her an invisible fork.

His eyes beamed when she pretended to eat from this imaginary food.

I was thinking yesterday how this applies to business. So often we are afraid to even talk about what we are thinking because we are afraid that people may not like what we have to say.

I believe it's because our creativity has been stifled too many times.

In school, we are told to color in the lines. We are told that there is only one way to solve a problem. 

At work, we are told that we have to keep our noses down and make sure that we do things a certain way.

Too often in life we are told to grow up.

There is great value in looking at things from a child's perspective. We need to find ways to be more creative and imagine more.

We need to unleash our inner child and enjoy life a bit more... only then will our business grow.
